Our Formula
We created Silky with a simple philosophy:
Use what is needed. Leave out what isn’t.
Our basic formula includes:
No SLS. Low Foam.
- Water: The foundation of the formula and the main carrier for the other ingredients.
- Plant Based Oil: Selected to help cleanse while supporting a soft, smooth-feeling coat.
- Glycerin: Helps maintain moisture and contributes to a softer, smoother feel after bathing.
- Sodium Chloride (Salt): Used as part of the formulation to help achieve the desired consistency and performance.
Silky is formulated without SLS and intentionally produces little to no foam. It’s different from the traditional shampoo experience — and that’s exactly what we intended.

Regular bathing helps remove the dirt, oils and buildup that naturally accumulate on your pet’s coat.

Why We Created Silky
Silky started with our own dogs.
After trying different dog shampoos, we wanted something that could clean effectively without leaving their coats feeling unnecessarily dry or rough. So we developed a different approach and tested the formula on our own pets — including different breeds, coat types, short-haired and long-haired dogs. When we created a pet shampoo we were happy to use on our own pets, we decided to share it with other pet owners.
Because the products we use on our pets should be products we trust ourselves.
